Pre-Export Appraisal How do I know the vehicle is really as good as it looks in the pictures? The JEVIC Pre-Export Appraisal is a professional and independent 120 point assessment of a vehicle’s overall condition prior to export from Japan. The Appraisal confirms in detail the vehicles overall condition, accessories, structural and mechanical integrity with 12 detailed photographs included in the report. Odometer Verification How do I know the mileage is correct on the vehicle I have purchased? Don’t get caught out purchasing a vehicle with a tampered odometer – odometer tampering does exist in Japan. Buying a vehicle with a tampered odometer could cost you a lot of money when the vehicle begins to show signs of greater wear and tear than what should be from expected the vehicles odometer reading. Save yourself the unnecessary worry by getting the odometer inspected before shipping the vehicle home. Only a complete physical examination of the odometer and instrument cluster can give you peace of mind that the odometer has not previously been tampered. JEVIC complete thousands of odometer inspections each year with some regulators requiring JEVIC odometer verifi cation, prior to the vehicle entering that country. The report is issued and authorised by the Japanese Government. Vehicle History Reports supplied by JEVIC are recognised as verified and authentic information by some regulators around the world.
